Save up to 18% on fuel bills with a new boiler. You can get a grant from the SEAI of up to €700 as part of an upgrade to your central heating system, whatever type of boiler you have. Your property must have been built before 2006 to be eligible. Installation should be completed by an SEAI-registered contractor such as JCPS Mechanical. The grant only applies to new, high-efficiency condensing boilers.
This grant supports the installation of new and improved heating controls in your home. Full or partial funding is available. The new system must include a 7-day heating timer so you can choose the days and times the heating will be turned on.
The SEAI changed the criteria for the grant in February 2020. Your home must now meet 6 out of the following 8 criteria:
